Job Description
At The Atlantic District, we believe insurance is about much more than policies and paperwork; it is about people. Based in the heart of Waldorf, Maryland, our office is a place where we prioritize building real, lasting relationships with our neighbors. We are currently looking for a thoughtful, driven Insurance Agent to join our close-knit team. If you are someone who finds genuine joy in helping others secure their future and peace of mind, you will fit right in here. You will be the friendly face our clients turn to when they need advice, clarity, or support during a difficult time. We cultivate an environment that is supportive, encouraging, and focused on growth—both for our clients and for you. Here, your work has a direct impact on the safety and stability of families in our community. We invite you to bring your energy and passion to our team, where you will have the space to develop your career, share your ideas, and truly make a difference in the lives of those around you.

Listen carefully to the needs of our local community members to help them find the right coverage for their homes, cars, and lives.
Prepare clear, accurate insurance quotes that help our clients feel confident in their decision-making.
Guide clients through the renewal process, checking in to ensure their policies still match their current stage of life.
Resolve client questions or concerns with kindness, patience, and attention to detail.
Actively engage with the Waldorf community to build lasting, authentic connections with neighbors and local business owners.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all client accounts within our digital systems.
Requirements
Active Maryland Property & Casualty insurance license.
Solid track record of managing and growing an insurance book of business.
Strong command of written and spoken English for clear communication with clients.
Competency in using agency management systems and standard office software.
A genuine desire to help people protect what matters most to them.
